Rehabilitation of moving activity and nervous-muscular coordination at defeats of the central nervous system after Skorbun-Zverev method: removal of spasticity, atonic muscles tone restoration, accelerated record of base movements in a memory

We are physicist and we started to work in this field due to our sport hobby and a well-directed study of what is called "healthy life style". Maybe this allowed us also to look at the problem "from aside".
The authors of this site actively went in for sports and in the middle of 1980-th for sport purposes (to improve on expansion in order to sit up in leg-split) have been produced a trainer based on a principle of bio-mechanical stimulation of muscles that had been developed in the Institute of physical culture (Minsk) for training of sportsmen. We tested it on ourselves for over 6 months. Our initial goal was not reached but we learned well mechanisms of what the authors named bio-mechanical stimulation. Since then we have occasionally used trainer and the technique, that have been developed by us, for the rehabilitation of various breaches of motor activity for ourselves and friends. This included rehabilitation after traumas, stretchings, at the radiculitis, osteochondrosis and for post-operational development of mobility of joints etc. From our own experience we know, that for basically healthy people there are no remote negative consequences due to use of our technique, at least for 10 years.
In 1996, not knowing that it "is impossible task", having never dealt with problems of the people with Cerebral Palsy (CP) before, we applied our sports-rehabilitation technique for alleviation of spasticity in a two-years old daughter of our friends (Aleksandra S.), who was suffering CP (left-side hemiparesis of a spastic type, mainly of the left leg). The attempt proved to be successful. During one five-days course we practically have removed spasticity of muscles of the left leg, contractures of knee and hip joints. But problems with feet - impossibility of active motions, ecvinovarus installation of feet and other ones connected with muscle control and coordination was remained. So we began to study the techniques of CP rehabilitation and came to a conclusion that our approach is new and that it has good prospects.
Therefore we offered to K.D. (CP, hyperkinesis) to take a course of treatment with our technique. A.S. was a two-year old child and basically it would be possible to try to explain improvement of her state by other reasons. But K.R. was 21 years old - an age when the available ideas in medicine did not allow to hope for essential results. Nevertheless, the progress was great. In both cases a spasmodic change of central nervous system (CNS) functional connections took place, namely, some defective movements were cut off and genetically given ones were engaged, contractures and spasticity were eliminated and hyperkinesis was considerably reduced. For explanation of the received results we have been offered (by an analogy to computer technologies) a model of " brain formatting ", proceeding from which we began to develop a technique of restoration at defeats CNS and peripherical nervous system. In addition to the people with CP, we began to work with other patients (multiple sclerosis, stroke, torsion dystonia, paresis...).
It is necessary to note that although this description is general and simplified, it is a generalization of CNS work mechanisms, that had established by science and an attempt to explain the results that we received. In terms of current scientific assumptions these results may appear unique, although there is nothing surprising or unique if proceed from our model.
As the result of application of our technique, Alexandra S's CP diagnosis was removed (after 2,5 years of treatment); at Nina L. (46 years old, since a 1985 moved only in a carriage) for three course spasticity of hands and legs was removed, practically in complete volume the work of the right hand was restored, and the left hand she now can use during meal to keep a plug, spoon, that before was impossible; at Ksenia M. and Sergey M. spasticity was removed and the work of abductors of legs was restored, as a result a tendency to crossing of legs was removed, that allowed to avoid a surgical operation. And it is essential, that these results were expected proceeding from assumptions of work of our method. It is possible to tell, that at everyone, with whom we had to work, we practically completely or completely removed spasticity, including spasticity of pectoral arch and neck muscles, partially of mimical face muscles. According to our ideas a question of complete removal of spasticity, depending on a degree and character of a defeat, is first of all a question of quantity of therapy courses and the main jump occuring during the first course. More longer period is required for restoration of normal work of feet and face muscles, but this is connected to a peculiarity of anatomy of these structures, that also completely agree with our ideas about work of the method.
All patients with whom we worked, were selected according to two criteria: whether they had at least one aspect of illness, that corresponded to our ideas about rehabilitation possibilities of our technique and whether it is possible to such strong influence on that patient.
We will not go into details of the device and methodical complex of exercises because of we do not want this technique (even though it may seem simple) was used by incompetent people, that can result not only in serious complications (for example, strengthening of spasticity), but also in traumatizing joints and soft tissues.
Method and device are protected by patent of Russian Federation . But, with certain formalities, all necessary information can be submitted to interested persons.

The inventions and KNOW-HOW were exibited at the World Fair for Invention "Bruxelles - Eureka" (Bruxelles) in 1994, 1997 and 1998 and the authors ware awarded diplomas, gold and silver medals of OMPP and Salon, and also have received the Grand Prise, a silver medal, and the Cup of Nice city at Concours Lepine - an International Fair of the Inventions (Paris, 1998., 1999., Nice 2000)
